Endless Olas is a premiere surf camp known for their experienced coaches, attention to detail, and access to some of the best breaks and beaches anywhere in Costa Rica. But there are other ways to enjoy the bounty and beauty of nature while in the country. If you are interested in other adventures beyond surfing, Endless Olas offers expeditions to experience some of the best white-water rafting anywhere on the planet.
Costa Rica is a natural paradise partly due to the pristine jungles that serve as the planet’s lungs. These opulent jungle settings are where white-water rafting adventures begin, enjoying spectacular scenery as you splash and dash your way through the shifting currents of popular tours like the Coto Brus, Guabo, Savegre and Naranjo Rivers.
Our tours are open during both the dry and green seasons, keeping in mind that fresh rainfall will cause the waters to froth and foam more aggressively. Tours are available for every skill level, and we recommend that every participant bring a change of clothes, a towel, sunblock, and shoes that can get wet. Cameras are optional if they are water-resistant.
Savegre River
Best for families and beginners to the sport of white-water rafting. Rated as either a Class II or III river (medium to difficult) depending on local conditions, this tour is available for families with children age 8 and above. Includes waterfalls, canyons, and a few wild and wooly rapids.
Guabo River
Rated a Class II or III river depending on conditions, the eight-mile tour of the river is an ideal half-day trip. The tour begins in the scenic San Juan de Dios Valley and comes out right on the beach at Dominical. Available for families with children age 11 and older.
Coto Brus River
Rated Class III or IV (difficult to very difficult), this tour is only available for experienced rafters. With so many rapids and rocky patches, you won’t see any boats on this river. Open to individuals age 13 or older, this is an all-day tour that will guarantee to get your heart racing.
Naranjo River
One of Costa Rica’s most exciting rivers is the Naranjo. This pristine river is the natural southern border of Manuel Antonio National Park and offers Class III-IV rapids for an exhilarating ride. Open to individuals age 8 or older, the Naranjo River is only 30 minutes away from the Manuel Antonio and Quepos area, and the tour runs from the town of Villanueva in the mountains to the Llamarón Bridge on the road from Quepos to Dominical. You will raft rapids such as La Piñata, El Cesar and Robin Hood.
